Install now
- Download Magic Zoom Plus™ for Magento (demo version).
- Unzip the contents, and upload the magiczoomplus folder to your Magento directory.
- Go to http://www.yoursite.url/magiczoomplus/ in your browser and follow the instructions.
- Open the app/etc/magictoolbox/magiczoomplus.settings.ini file and configure Magic Zoom Plus™. If you want different configurations for different themes, you can place a separate magiczoomplus.settings.ini file into the app/design/frontend/[your_interface]/[your_theme]/ folder.
- The demo version is now installed
- To upgrade, buy Magic Zoom Plus™ and overwrite the magiczoomplus.js file n in this folder:
/skin/frontend/[your_interface]/[your_theme]/js/
Multi-language
You can change the language of the message and loading text like so:
- Find the locale folder for the language you wish to change e.g. /etc/locale/en_US.
- Open the file Mage_Api.csv into the editor and insert these lines at the and of the file:
"MagicZoomPlus_Message","Write your message here"
"MagicZoomPlus_LoadingText","Write your message here"
- Continue these steps for each locale you wish to change.

Q How do I change the image when custom options are selected?
A Put the color name in the 'Label' attribute of each image. Open the .ini file and set the option for 'option-associated-with-images' to your option name.
Q How do I prevent Magento images stretching?
A Open your .ini file and turn on the option named 'ignore-magento-css'.
Q Do you support configurable products?
A We do not support configurable products. We only support configurable product attributes and also product options.
