Magic Slideshow™ for Zen Cart

Install now

1. Download Zen Cart module for Magic Slideshow™.
2. Unzip the file and upload the magicslideshow folder to your Zen-Cart directory.
3. Go to http://your.site.url/magicslideshow/ in your browser and follow the instructions.
4. Go to [Admin panel -> Configuration -> Zen Magic Slideshow] and configure Magic Slideshow™ how you want it.
5. The demo version is now installed!
6. To upgrade, buy Magic Slideshow™ and overwrite the includes/templates/YOUR-TEMPLATE-NAME/jscript/magicslideshow.js file with the one from your license.

Setup a slideshow

The module lets you add Magic Slideshow™ to:

• Product pages
• "Featured" blocks
• "Specials" blocks
• "What's new" blocks

1. To create a slideshow, go to either
   [Admin panel → Configuration → Zen Magic Slideshow]
   or:
   [Admin panel → Modules → Configuration → Zen Magic Slideshow]
2. Then choose one of these options:
   • Use effect for 'Featured products' block
   • Use effect for 'Specials' block
   • Use effect for 'Whats new' block
   • Use effect for product page
3. Then choose your settings.

Slideshow on your home page

To create a home page slideshow, edit this file:

[zencart folder]/includes/languages/[your language]/html_includes/[your template]/define_main_page.php

Or you can quickly edit the page via Admin→Tools→Define Pages Editor, and select define_main_page from the pulldown. If the file doesn't exist, you can copy it from [zencart folder]/includes/languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_main_page.php

You can edit it also here - Admin→Tools→Define Pages Editor (select define_main_page from the pull-down).

The Magic Slideshow™ effect is done in JavaScript - it is not a Flash slideshow. If you have questions on installing/configuring this Zen Cart slideshow, please contact us and we will help you.
