Install it now!

1. Download the Zen Cart add-on for Magic Scroll™.
2. Unzip the addon and upload the magicscroll folder to your Zen-Cart directory.
3. Go to http://your.site.url/magicscroll/ in your browser and follow the instructions.
4. Go to [Admin panel -> Configuration -> Zen Magic Scroll] and configure Magic Scroll™ how you want it.
5. The demo version is now installed!
6. To upgrade, buy Magic Scroll™ and overwrite the includes/templates/YOUR-TEMPLATE-NAME/jscript/magicscroll.js file with the one from your license.

Setup a scroll

Add a carousel/scroll to anywhere on your Zen Cart site. It is particularly easy to add scrolls in these places:

• Product pages
• "Featured" blocks
• "Specials" blocks
• "What's new" blocks

1. To create a scroll, go to either
   [Admin panel → Configuration → Zen Magic Scroll]
   or:
   [Admin panel → Modules → Configuration → Zen Magic Scroll]
2. Then choose one of these options:
   • Use effect for 'Featured products' block
   • Use effect for 'Specials' block
   • Use effect for 'Whats new' block
   • Use effect for product page
3. Then choose your settings.

Create slides on your home page

To scroll images or text on your home page, edit this file:

[zencart folder]/includes/languages/[your language]/html_includes/[your template]/define_main_page.php

Or you can quickly edit the page via Admin > Tools > Define Pages Editor, and select define_main_page from the pulldown. If the file doesn't exist, you can copy it from [zencart folder]/includes/languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_main_page.php

You can edit it also here - Admin > Tools > Define Pages Editor (select define_main_page from the pull-down).

The Magic Scroll™ addon uses JavaScript (it does not use Flash) so it works in all major browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. It also works on mobile devices including iPhone and iPad.
