Magic Zoom^™ for Joomla and VirtueMart

Instructions

1. Download the Joomla 1.5 module or the Joomla 1.0 module.
2. Upload and install the module on your website.
3. Open the module settings and publish it.
4. Set "show title" to off. That's all
5. To upgrade, buy Magic Zoom^™ (full version) and overwrite the previous mz-packed.js file with that from the full version. The file location is:
   • Joomla 1.5: /modules/mod_virtuemart_magiczoom/core/
   • Joomla 1.0 and 1.1: /modules/mod_virtuemart_magiczoom/core/

Further information

• The trial version of Magic Zoom^™ displays a "please upgrade" message for images larger than 300px.
• All versions are supported: Joomla 1.0, Joomla 1.1, Joomla 1.5, VirtueMart 1.0, VirtueMart 1.1.
• Since VirtueMart changed it's API in March 2008, it's not possible to show zooming on the browse pages.
• Joomla added plugins as well as modules when it moved from 1.0 to 1.5. We initally issued a VirtueMart plugin but have since changed it to a module.

FAQ

To customize colors and borders, edit the MagicZoom.css file located in /modules/mod_virtuemart_magiczoom/core/MagicZoom.css. Also, look at the customisation guide.
