1. Download the Magic Zoom^™ component for VirtueMart.
2. If you have an old version of Magic Zoom^™, uninstall it via the Install/Uninstall page.
3. Joomla 1.5: Open the Extension Manager in your Joomla administration, or:
   Joomla 1.0.x: Open the page Installers->Components in your Joomla administration.
4. In "Upload Package File", select the Magic Zoom^™ component that you just downloaded and click "Upload File and Install".
5. Open the page "Components->Magic Zoom" to customize Magic Zoom^™ as you wish. You can assign profiles to pages via the "Pages" page.
6. Magic Zoom^™ is ready to use
7. To upgrade, buy Magic Zoom^™ (full version) and overwrite the previous magiczoom.js file with that from the full version. The file location is:
   • Joomla 1.5: /modules/mod_virtuemart_magiczoom/core/
   • Joomla 1.0.x: /modules/mod_virtuemart_magiczoom/core/

To customize colors and borders, edit the magiczoom.css file located in /modules/mod_virtuemart_magiczoom/core/magiczoom.css. Also, look at the customization guide.

• This component was created for VirtueMart, the ecommerce engine for Joomla!.
• All versions are supported: Joomla 1.0, Joomla 1.1, Joomla 1.5, VirtueMart 1.0, VirtueMart 1.1.
• Joomla added plugins as well as modules when it moved from 1.0 to 1.5. We initally issued a VirtueMart plugin but have since changed it to a module.
