Install now

1. Download the Magic Slideshow™ OpenCart module (demo version).
2. Extract the zip file to your computer and upload the magicslideshow folder to the root of your OpenCart directory.
3. Go to http://www.yoursite.url/magicslideshow/ in your browser and follow the instructions.
4. Go to [Admin panel -> Extensions] and activate module (screenshot).
5. Click "Edit" to change the Magic Slideshow™ options (screenshot).
6. Enable the module and change the options as you wish (screenshot).
7. To upgrade, buy Magic Slideshow™ and overwrite the file admin/controller/module/magictoolbox/magicslideshow.js with that from your licensed version.

This module lets you create slideshows on your product details page and other blocks such as featured products

Slideshow on home page

If you want a slideshow on your homepage, you should make some manual changes, described here:

1. Open your home page template, located here:
   [OPENCART_DIR]/catalog/view/theme/[YOUR_THEME]/template/common/home.tpl
2. Go to the position on your page where you want to create a slideshow.
3. Create a div and inside it, add an <img> tag for each of the images to be shown in your slideshow. For example, your code might look like this:
   <div class="MagicSlideshow">
   <a href="example1.htm"><img src="/my-images/example1.jpg"/></a>
   <a href="example2.htm"><img src="/my-images/example2.jpg"/></a>
   <a href="example3.htm"><img src="/my-images/example3.jpg"/></a>
   </div>
4. To adjust your slideshow exactly as you want it, choose from the list of options.
