Magic Touch™ for Drupal

Zoom into the image!

Install now!

  1. Download and unzip the Magic Touch™ module for Drupal 6 or Drupal 7.
  2. Upload the magictouch folder to the modules folder of your Drupal website.
  3. Activate "Magic Touch" in your Drupal admin area - Administer -> Site Building -> Modules (image section).
  4. Enter your unique ID for Magic Touch™ - either login or sign up.
  5. It's ready to use!
  6. Zoom an image by adding a link from your small image to your large image with a class of "MagicTouch" in the <a> tag. For example:

    <a href="large.jpg" class="MagicTouch"><img src="small.jpg"/></a>

  1. Download and unzip the Drupal 5 module for Magic Touch™.
  2. Upload the magictouch folder to the modules folder of your Drupal website.
  3. If you have a Unix server, provide write access for the * ./includes/theme.inc file. You can do this with this command:
    chmod 777 ./includes/theme.inc
  4. Activate and configure Magic Touch™ in the Drupal Administration Panel.
  5. Enter your unique ID for Magic Touch™ - either login or sign up.
  6. It's ready to use!
  7. To create an image zoom, place your small image on your page and make a link to the large image. For example like this:

    <a href="large.jpg" class="MagicTouch"><img src="small.jpg"/></a>

This module was created to make it easy to zoom deep inside huge images. We recommend images of at least 1000px width and preferably as large as possible. Magic Touch™ is able to zoom so fast into huge images because it creates thousands of small images (tiles) and displays only the images that are required for the zoom. It is the only way to zoom fast into high resolution images.
