Magic Thumb™ for Gallery

Install now!

  1. Download and unzip the Gallery 3 module for Magic Thumb™ (demo version).
  2. Upload the magicthumb folder to the /modules/ directory of your Gallery 3 website.
  3. Login to your Gallery 3 admin area and go to the 'Gallery Modules' page ('Modules' section in the menu).
  4. Find the Magic Thumb™ module in the list (under Name section) and activate it.
  5. Go to the 'Magic Thumb configuration' page ('Settings' -> 'Magic Thumb' section in the menu) and configure it.
  6. That's all!
  7. To upgrade from the demo version, either buy Magic Thumb™ or apply for a non-commercial license. Then overwrite the old magicthumb.js file with the one from your licensed version.
  1. Download and unzip the Gallery 2 lightbox module for Magic Thumb™ (demo version).
  2. Upload the magicthumb folder to the /modules/ directory of your Gallery website.
  3. Login to your Gallery admin area and go to the Plugins page.
  4. Find the Magic Thumb™ plugin in the list. Install it and configure it.
  5. Activate the plugin (if not already activated).
  6. If you use a Unix machine, you should provide write access (777) for these files:
    • main.php
    • modules/core/classes/GalleryTemplateAdapter.class
    • modules/core/classes/GalleryTheme.class
    Run the following command in the Gallery directory to grant write permissions:
    • chmod 777 main.php modules/core/classes/GalleryTemplateAdapter.class modules/core/classes/GalleryTheme.class
  7. The demo version is now installed.
  8. To upgrade to the full version, either buy Magic Thumb™ or apply for a non-commercial license. Then overwrite the old magicthumb.js file with the one from your licensed version.
