Install now

  1. Download the CS-Cart extension for Magic Thumb™.
  2. Unzip the contents and upload the magicthumb folder to the addons directory of your CS-Cart.
  3. Go to [Administration -> Addons] in the CS-Cart admin panel and install this extension.
  4. The demo version is now installed!
  5. Use the edit link to configure Magic Thumb™ exactly how you want it.
  6. To upgrade, buy Magic Thumb™ and overwrite the old addons/magicthumb/core/magicthumb.js file with your licensed one.

CS-Cart v1.3 instructions

  1. Follow these instruction only if you have CS-Cart version 1.3.
  2. Download and unzip the CS-Cart module for Magic Thumb™.
  3. Upload the magicthumb folder to the skins/[skin-name]/customer/ folder of your CS-Cart site.
  4. Open the file skins/[skin-name]/customer/index.tpl and add the following code before '</head>':
    <link href="{$skin_dir}/magicthumb/magicthumb.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen"/>
    <script src="{$skin_dir}/magicthumb/magicthumb.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
  5. Open the file skins/[skin-name]/customer/products_pages/product_details.tpl and replace
    '//file="common_templates/image.tpl"//'
    with
    'file="common_templates/image_magicthumb.tpl"'
  6. Repeat step #3 for the file skins/[skin-name]/customer/products_pages/additional_images.tpl.
  7. Upload the file image_magicthumb.tpl to skins/[skin-name]/customer/common_templates/.
  8. Enjoy!

Multiple images

Swapping between many images is already a standard feature in Magic Thumb™. But if you have lots of images, the page can look complicated.

Make your thumbnails look slick and organised with Magic Scroll™ for CS-Cart. It neatly contains the images adds arrows to slide between them. Example:

  1. Simply activate Magic Scroll™ on the CS-Cart options page (screenshot).
  2. To remove the "Please upgrade" text, buy a license and overwrite the addons/magicthumb/core/magicscroll.js file with that from your licensed version.
