Magic 360 Flash™ for X-Cart

Installation

1. Download the X-Cart module for Magic 360 Flash™.
2. Unzip the file and upload the magic360flash folder to your X-Cart directory.
3. Go to http://your.site.url/magic360flash/ in your browser and follow the instructions.
4. Go to http://your.site.url/admin/magic360flash.php and configure Magic 360 Flash™ as you wish.
5. To setup a 360 spin, upload your set of 360 images to your product in your X-Cart admin.
6. On the module settings page, choose which products should have the Magic 360 Flash effect by modifying following parameters:
   • Image count - Number of images in the spin set e.g. 18 or 36 (0 = disabled)
   • Product IDs - Choose which products have 360 images, comma separated e.g. 1,4,5,12,14 (all = all products)
7. To upgrade, buy Magic 360 Flash™ and overwrite the file [current skin directory]/magictoolbox/core/magic360flash.js with the same file from your licensed version.

This 360 degree product viewer with zoom was built for X-Cart.

It uses Flash to create the spin and zoom effect. If you don't want Flash, then use our JavaScript 360 spin tool instead: Magic 360™.

Magic 360 Flash™ uses a set of photos shot at equal degrees to create the spin effect. One set of photos is used for the 360 degree spin and another set is used for the zoom. You can customise the speed, borders, effects, blurring, autostart and other options. The X-Cart addon module makes it easy to install and customize and if you need help, contact us.

For each product you want to spin in 360 degree view, you need a set of 18 or 36 photos. Each set of photos should be shot on a turntable, with each shot equally spaced when rotating. If you don't already have photos, tell us what your products are and we can get quotations for professional 360 product photography for you.
